Fretzy’s Candles – Proud Supporter of Ovarian Cancer
We love homemade tchotchkes and we especially love them when they’re for a good cause. We’ve teamed up with our friends over at Fretzy’s Candles (Facebook | Website ) – created by a strong husband-and-wife team who wanted to offer the public reasonably-priced, soy candles that could be customized to order – and that’s just what they have done! Their small start-up is located in Hunterdon County, NJ, and uses materials obtained from local suppliers.
Several weeks ago, we approached them and asked if they would be willing to turn some soy candles teal for our HOPE Holiday Party, with proceeds going to the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund. They were both very agreeable and donated a batch of unscented teal votives for our party – and are even bringing some along for us to sell (just in case anyone is interested). These candles can be made with virtually any scent you request – we only requested unscented due to our unfortunate allergies :(.
The teal votive candles can be purchased for $2.00 – they may expand into larger mason jar-sized candles, but only if demand is strong enough, so get shopping :).
Psst…what we especially love about the glass votive jars is the incredible potential for customization! (We see a lot of teal and zebra striped ribbon in our future….) Get crafting!
