I’ve called cancer a four letter word. I hate it. I hate it every time I hear someone has been diagnosed with cancer. I hate that cancer took my mom from me. But I didn’t let cancer defeat me. I took my pain and hate and started writing. I walk every year in memory of my mom. I wish cancer would just go away.
Hi Kathy,
Oh yes, cancer can be called many things and none of them nice. But you’re a lot like me…I won’t let the pain of it ruin me, either. Otherwise, cancer wins, and who wants to be beaten by a bully?
At least if cancer won’t go away, we could at least beat it down before it takes over someone.
Best,
Sunny
